Avondale Sky Winery
80 Avondale Cross Rd Newport Nova Scotia B0N 2A0 Canada
One of the oldest vineyards in Nova Scotia, Avondale Sky Winery is tucked away near the western end of the Avon Peninsula, protected by the surrounding rivers. Featuring a farm, winery, restaurant and retail shop, Avondale Sky Winery is proud to showcase and celebrate local ingredients and products.
Just over an hour’s drive from Halifax, Avondale Sky Winery sits at the foot of Nova Scotia’s largest wine region. Tour the vineyard and discover the fascinating history of how a wooden church originally consecrated in Walton, NS, was floated downriver and repurposed as a delightful winery tasting room. Escape the everyday and indulge in award-winning wines with food to match.
